Conspiracy theory hat on in terms of the grind for the relic... just wondering if anyone else is wearing their tin foil or if it is just me.

Like someone said before that made me laugh. It will be delayed to make the new relics feel more important so that they aren't easily within a few days but an extra month of longevity.
Why? The first part of the preview is coming the 23rd, with part 2 in January. I don't see any inklings as to a delay whatsoever.

3.2 has already been delayed due to the dev statements made back pre 3.0, where they stated it would be 'a year between expansions' and they they knew the prior patch rate was unacceptable for this day and age, and they would shoot for 2.5 months between major content patches.

They will hold 3.2 hostage till a certain % of players have completed the relic quests :x

After the delay to 3.1 with such a pitiful showing of new content a delay to 3.2 will be a shot to the heart for the game. I think the real problem though is that even if it isn't delayed many players will still be bored. A lot of the discontent I'm hearing stems not from lack of content specifically, but simply boredom with basic gameplay routines. We desperately need something that will shake up regular gameplay for everyone, rather than just more of the same old routine. If 3.2 doesn't deliver that then the game will continue on its downward spiral.
I mean, I don't see why it would be. Does cut and paste take more effort than I realize?
They're working diligently on Lord of Verminion improvements which may push back the timeline of the next patch.
