Playing video games should be entertaining. That's the core of any form of entertainment.

We cameback home after school/work and what we want the most is having fun before we go to bed. That's why we watch TV, movies, sports, listen to music, and play video games.

If there's a video game that I have to do a lot of "works" that are not entertaining AT ALL, why should I waste my time on it?

See the first relic for the example. You have to fight Chimera, Hydra, Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan to earn your relic. It's FUN. That's what they should be giving us.

I play solo a lot and I personally am starting to find it hard to log in. Maybe I'm just burnt out. I have taken 2 longer breaks from HW since it came out.

Ah, no problem. Well if your ever find yourself in Balmung look me up and we'll hang out.
It's always good to take a brake when you start feeling the burnout, nothing negative about it to you or the game. Anything can give a "burn out" feeling.

I don't know where you get your facts, but my server has never been so populated as of now.

Well as magical as Balmung is and as the destination server (supposedly 1k paid transfers). We have actually had non maintenance character creation open in the last month. The PF thing just popped clicked and 9/25 are people partying for new weapons. Still have N than Costa fates, housing, savage, and diadem stuff.

The actual weapon process doesn't make me sad. It is the way they have gone about stuff. Just man up and say " Relics are what we used to fill dead content." IE fates, spirit binding, crafting, old dungeons, and beastmen tribes. People can respect honesty and straight forwardness. They can't respect the way they have gone about implementing content since housing failure.
