Its as if you guys forgot that the final Anima weapon will be the best weapon in the game for the 5-6 month period between 3.X's final patch and 4.0.

That's why you do it now. Sure you'll replace it 3 weeks into 3.2, but then you'll grind and use it again for 3.25 and so on.

And in FFXI a 10+ year old game relic weapons nearly that old are still good to use even with newer cotent out. Something FFXIV should be doing as well but failing miserably.
