I think a lot that are unhappy are the ones that would blow through it in a week maybe even the first day or two and then would complain about there nothing to do

Trouble is if you don't do this relic like that then there's no point in doing it at all as you won't finish that third stage before the next patch gives a better weapon. Have you even seen how many hours of grind that third stage requires? No one but the hardcore burnout grinders will have that done before the weapon becomes redundant. What's the point in grinding for something you won't ever get the chance to use?
