Thats just your opinion, nearly all of PF on balmung is relic related, so clearly its not the popular opinion either. My fc has been making fun of the forums for complaining so much about the relics, most of us are working on them without caring that its grindy

A lot of people are doing the relic and bitching about it the entire way. That's a sure-fire way to cause burn out which can only be bad for the game.

It gives me a goal, something to do with friends, and it doesnt require me to meet stupidly strict dps checks. I guess if you dont have friends to do the chain with, it might be boring, but we are enjoying it.

That's also just your opinion. Just because people are doing the relic (The fate farming is not the part people are complaining about btw, it's the last step.) Does not mean they find it enjoyable. There is simply nothing else to do in the game.

Trouble is if you don't do this relic like that then there's no point in doing it at all as you won't finish that third stage before the next patch gives a better weapon. Have you even seen how many hours of grind that third stage requires? No one but the hardcore burnout grinders will have that done before the weapon becomes redundant. What's the point in grinding for something you won't ever get the chance to use?

It was like this with atmas, and nexus, and zodiak too, and the game didnt decline or lose subs, even though the forums were just as ragey as now.

The low standars some gamers have today is really something that is painfull to watch, read and see its effects kick in... This absurdly white knighting is what keeps developers from worrying and caring about what they do... Which translates in low quality inexcusable content like what we have seen today.

Reminder to all: This content was delayed cause it wasn`t ready 6 months ago at HW launch. Aparently, the copypasting process had a small trouble, someone was confusing control+c with control+v so they were not copying anything for 6 months, yesterday they found out, just in time for the patch.

Agree so much with this, who the hell in their right mind would enjoy something as mundane and boring as this. There's nothing new, nothing innovative and quite frankly just dull.
