100 or 1000 complaints on a forum, where you are anonymous is much less powerful than a concentrated letter campaign.

Aren't the forum's attached to characters in the game? Explain to me how we are anonymous when our characters here link directly to our paying model characters we use in the game? Every single complaint from someone here is from a paying customer, and we are in no way "anonymous" to the developers. You think a letter campaign is going to make a difference, you are sadly mistaken.

Thank you. That is exactly how I feel. I'm not one to bash constructive criticism. Aimless whining though. That's a different story. If every person who came here to complain about the relic, also gave a well thought out idea on what they could have done differently (and I'm not just talking about "Make it easier! With less stuff!") the devs might come up with ideas they might not have thought of otherwise..

Yeah relics should of had abilities by now. It's nice to know that the secondary stats players put on their Zeta's were made worthless. At least I have an excuse to get off my ass and play Dark Knight now.

Between zeta and anima People have now seen the presumed process of the relic, from its start to its end, and it is unsatisfying compared to other mmos and games. Don't presume no one has ever been compelled to run content over and over before. I certainly have, but it had better be worth more than "25% off the next monotonous task we design for this sort of thing".

This isn't all handwaved as some limitation of the genre or its players. We've seen better quests, and we have seen better rewards for said quests.

Honestly, kinda yeah. But 2 points on that. First off, he's one of the few people I've seen actually do so. So kudos on that. But I do feel like delivery matters in a way. When you deliver feedback in the form of an aggressive rant, it kind of distracts away from whatever good you may have intended in the message.

You may have misinterpreted my words to mean that, but if you read it again, all I tried to do was try to suggest to people to leave their "judgement" in a way that might be helpful rather than blind anger and insults being lashed out with no real point other than to say "I'm angry."

As far as I'm concerned they can feel as angry as they wish.
This content, apart from having problems of its own, served to exacerbate the issues many players have had with 3.0's content.

its actually kinda funny i came across this. I popped on WoW to check whats been happening and was comparing our relics to their weapons, kinda blows me away how boring FFXIV gear is. I cannot remember the last time I was excited about raid gear dropping in FFXIV outside possible glamour.

Much as I loathe WoW at times- the artifact tree looks interesting
