I just wanted to poke a funny... Clearly SE does not know the difference between significant and absolutely insane amount of time.
As people have noted... one can expect to spend somewhere in the realm of 300+ hours getting their current weapon. That's not a significant amount of time... that's freaking insane. I'm all for earning things (I dragged through the whole red script crafting fun before the nerfs).
This Anima design is just silly. The anima system needs a rework from top to bottom, where incremental time spent on the weapon shows notches of progress toward something interesting and most importantly fun.
Sadly SE is doing a great job at driving fun out of this game slowly but surely.
