I don't know about you but I think the Anima story so far is getting good.

After your relic uh.... talked.... to you, and you were asked what it sounded like, what did you answer?

So what about you? Think it'll have an impact later?

Said mine sounded like a woman for two reasons. First being inanimate objects tend to be referred to as "she" and secondly my character rather hearing the voice of a woman.
I hope it is explored more as the story progresses since the whole theme is making a self aware weapon.

Mine sounded like a woman, and I was certainly impacted by the Anima questline. I saw the requirements for 200 > 210 and logged, laughing hysterically with a hint of hysteria. I've calmed down, and am now heavily considering unsubbing for the first time ever...so yes, the Anima questline has certainly impacted me greatly.

I said woman's voice based on a few factors, The Main being in Jungian Psychology the Anima is the Female aspect of the subconscious where as the Animus is the male.

Another is that the Dragoon Spear, The Rhongomynyad, is the legendary Lance of King Arthur and was (most likly) granted to him by The Lady of the Lake along with his sword, Excalibur, and his dagger,Carnwennan.

So personally for me Rhongomynyad has the spirit of The Lady of the Lake in it. (The Lady of Silvertear Lake specifically since the glow on the i200 form of the spear is simmilar to the energy we channel from midguardsormr via Blood of the Dragon and The Dragonsong Dive)

That'd be weird as hell if the upgrade to the 210 weapon has different sub stats depending on the answer.

While that'd be hilarious... maybe it just affects the personality of your weapon?
Or its forming corporeal form? I sorta wanna hurry and finish the relic just to find out to be honest.

I had my sound turned off and other music playing at the time so I went: Ah!!!!!!!!! I don't know!? And asked my party members if it actually made a sound.
Then, I concluded that I would prefer my staff to be 'female'. Because Running around with a 'male' staff in my hand seems uncouth for a White mage.
