1) No one cares? They're running a MMO against top market competitors and they are one of the major game developers in the world. Shape up, or ship off.

2) Their content is driving players away. Everything about 3.0 is driving players away and relics are going to help it.

We are owed nothing by the Devs? Excuse me? Why exactly do we pay them? Do you go to Maccas and just throw $20 at a cashier and not expect a burger? What if you request a Big Mac and just get a Cheeseburger? You'd complain? Funny that.

REPEATING: The devs get paid because they have customers, which means keeping them satisfied. A lot are not satisfied which means no pay.

Alright little man. You apparently can't see the developers as human beings who need to pay bills, feed children, and take care of their own well being.
If you are unsatisfied, I suggest that you unsub and drop it. Your bitching is not justified and you are not owed anything. Stop being so self centered.
