Error (30002)

This is the epitome of frustrating. I am one of the players that has no problem with paying for this game when subscriptions start but, if I can't even reliably stay on, then I can't justify paying for it. It's annoying on its own when it just happens while running around town but, when you're in the middle of a Levequest, synthesis, or Battlewarden run and lose out on the entirety of it from this error, it's beyond frustrating and more like angering.

This really needs to be addressed on the whole BEFORE subscription fees start. Why am I going to invest the money and time to play if I can't be assured I can actually play? I'm at the point where I am hesitant to even do a Levequest, Battlewarden run, or synth because I might lose out on it. And every time I lose my connection in the middle of one of the these three scenarios, I just feel like "forget this crap" and go play something else. I can't imagine that's the reaction SE wants from their game or any other new players that encounter this.

I agree , hopefully this is something they can fix before payment begins. In the past 24hrs I only had one DC. The only thing that was odd was when I went in the Uldah market wards; it was laggy like never before. Almost 5 second delay on actions. Everywhere else was fine though.

I had one error tonight this time it was (30002)1320199121,26653377,5 I was in camp horizon, in a group when it happened.

well I give up, you're not getting any more of my money Square enix this game is horrible and unplayable and you should feel bad still error 30002 and you do nothing about it.

yea i get constant dc too. never happened in 1.18 and i get random dc like 4-6 times a day. terrible...

bad day: up to 5-8 times in a 2-4 hour sitting
good day: 1-4 times in a 2-4 hour sitting
... and good days are once in a blue moon.

4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
Gridania (within city and southern Grid in the approximate area of Humblehearth aeth crystal)

5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
Standing still (afk eating, but watching game screen), running (during leve), in-battle (URGHHHH) during leve, on chocobo, in-party killing mobs

6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
There were 3 disconnects when I was in a party (full party of 8 and light party of 4)

7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
none were in the vicinity during leves, and 4-8 during party

8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?
Yes, I would get kicked back to character selection screen, but after clicking on my character a server disconnect error appears and i have to completely exit FFXIV and relogin to the game. i would have to do this every single time i disconnect and it is getting very frustrating.

Side notes: Plenty of LS mates in the Kashuan server are getting this error and I want to point out that this issue is quite prevalent amongst players. This is also NOT an internet connection issue.

Just reiterating the frustration on this thread: I hope that SE takes note of this error and DOES something about it. I have been a loyal FFXIV player since day one and stayed true as each controversial patch was implemented. I feel that at this point, there have been many significant improvements in the game overall, but how can we (the ffxiv community) enjoy those improvements if we are being disconnected on a consistent basis. Find the crash bug and kill it SE. I will be more than happy to pay the subscription fee if this gets fixed. If not, I will /ragequit and uninstall forevers . Thanks

3) Frequency of 30002 Error - I havent been keeping a track of the error number until today but I've crashed around 10 times this week so estimated around twice a day.
4) What area were you in when the error occurred - I was in Gridania
5) What were you doing when the error occurred? - It mainly happens when I'm crafting or I leave the game on but it has happened when I'm running in Gridania.
6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? No I wasn't in a party
7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? 4
8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? Most time but I would say 3 out of 10 it would come back with a error log in message and then take me back to the main page to start the game.

4) What area were you in when the error occurred? Ul'dah, The black shroud, Coethras, Grindania, pretty much anywhere.
5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc) Standing still, running, chocobo
6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? Yes & No but 4
7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? 40+ and less
8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? Sometimes It would let me back on from the character selection screen, but most of the time I would have to force close the game. It usually lets me log immediately. Only once has it given me trouble logging back in.

Just happened to me again when I was making some tea come back a second later and it's froze again. Same as above just doing my crafting in Gridania but with Error code (30002) 1320502712, 21143712, 5.

Why does it keep on crashing? ;;
