    SE, PLEASE look into this. I was really enjoying myself in the game up until this issue arose. You're going to see a lot less subscribers come December if this doesn't get fixed.

    So I replied to a different post a while after 1.19 was released about this issue, but then back-tracked and blamed it on my ISP since my entire internet would go down every few minutes. But this only happens when I attempt to play FFXIV. And only since patch 1.19...

    Twice in 5 minutes. Left the zone when I reconnected the 2nd time.
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
    Broken Water ~ Zahar'ak gates
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
    Fighting in a party. Woke up dead and party disbanded. ;_;
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
    Full party of 8.
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
    Another 2 to 4 roughly.
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?
    Not immediately. Patcher timed out one before connecting.

    Oops just started a new thread I guess I should have posted this here. As additional info: I did have the issue a day or 2 pre-1.19 where it was kind of bad, then a few days past 1.20 it happened alot (to unplayable extent) then weeks of no issues and now... here it is again. I don't get it. I was thinking to replace my modem, but after reading this, it appears to be a server side issue. I just hope it gets fixed before Dec, because of course I'm not paying for a game I cant play. And right now, I cant play the game.

    Update: just tried to log in after not trying for an hr and got the error immediately. Then I was able to log-in and R0, and the error after 2 mins. Antivirus was disabled.

    Shortly after patch 1.18 I started getting lots of these errors, recently I am getting much less, and some days I get none, and other days I get a few. Here are some of the most recent errors I had.


    1.) Windows XP 32bit, Norton 2006, Time Warner Cable 10Mbps
    2.) (30002)1320001765,28477477,5
    2.) (30002)1320017202,28477477,5

    3.) Sometimes I can go a day or two without getting any, other days it happens several times a day

    4.) The first error listed above happend at 2:10PM CST 10/30/2011 while soloing in the beastmen stronghold by Broken Water. The second error happend while fighting ifrit at 6:30PM CST 10/30/2011

    5.) I was casting a spell (can't remember which) for the first error. I just had tried to dodge an eruption when the second error happend

    6.) I was solo for the first error, and in a party of 8 for the second

    7.) If you count mobs then 4 characters for the first error, and 8+ifrit for the second

    8.) I was able to log back in right away for the first error, but not for the second, and then I started getting errors such as (30002)1320017401,0,5 and (30002)1320017488,0,5 I tried 6 times to log back in and each time got similar errors. Only after restarting my PC I was able to log back in finally.

    This is increasingly odd. I logged back in at 7:30pm EST (an hour and a half after my last post) and played for 4hrs with no issues at all...

    3) Every 15 minutes to a half an hour since October 30
    4) Ul'Dah and around Camp Horizon
    5) Everything from inviting players to party to searching market items to leve quests
    6) Often times, yes I was in party
    7) Anywhere from 1 to a few dozen
    8) I had to exit and restart the client completely before it would let me log back in

    (30002)1320160753,0,5 was the most common I will update if I see any others

    This is the epitome of frustrating. I am one of the players that has no problem with paying for this game when subscriptions start but, if I can't even reliably stay on, then I can't justify paying for it. It's annoying on its own when it just happens while running around town but, when you're in the middle of a Levequest, synthesis, or Battlewarden run and lose out on the entirety of it from this error, it's beyond frustrating and more like angering.

    This really needs to be addressed on the whole BEFORE subscription fees start. Why am I going to invest the money and time to play if I can't be assured I can actually play? I'm at the point where I am hesitant to even do a Levequest, Battlewarden run, or synth because I might lose out on it. And every time I lose my connection in the middle of one of the these three scenarios, I just feel like "forget this crap" and go play something else. I can't imagine that's the reaction SE wants from their game or any other new players that encounter this.
