I am doing the Fate grind part just to get it done and because the extra gil and seals is nice. Besides been farming Eso quite a bit so I am welcoming the change for now. I have no intentions of actually finishing the quest line though, going to work on Crafting and Gathering soon as I am done if not sooner.

I already hated it to collect 12Atmas I did do last month and got extremly disappointed when I had to do 9 Book that needs a huge load of effort! I stopped and feelt really stupid and empty inside for wasting my time on atmas -.- (1 book would take 2-4 hours of playing = no thanks)

People have different tastes in content. I like the new relics. I don't like PvP. 3.2 will have PvP stuff. I wont begrudge the people who like PvP the resources spent on that content even if I don't enjoy it.

People are acting like they expected something completely different to the 2.x relics. Why? They pretty much said they will be a lot like the 2.x relics.

Infact my biggest grips are that the crafted stuff requires specialisations and that the lore at the start is rather confusing.

Sacrifice your beloved Zodiac-weapon for nothing more than even more grinding. I mean, you spent so much time, effort and money in your previous relic. But all that is now worthless, because you skip only the first step and you have to grind, more than ever in this game.

Whats the point? There is no challenge any more. Even you have the time, the luck (droprates yay) and the money to get your 210 weapon, do you really feel satisfied? Do you really want to repeat that for more than one class?

To be clear:
- Weapons from Thordan Ex and Alexander 4 Savage are still best-in-slot
- You have to spent alot of time and money in an endless grinding nightmare
- If you have no money or a good crafter, you re fucked. You will never get it then!
- Droprates, Grinding and Atmas makes it even worse
- Trading your Zodiac stands in no relation to the first step
- Grinding makes no fun!

To fix this:
- No droprates
- No crafting-items
- Alternative ways for experienced players with less time

Yeah, I really thought the 'head-start' of having a Zeta would be to transfer it's secondary sub-stat melds to the new relic.

I'm assuming at some point they ARE going to add a secondary substat meld phase just as there was for the previous relic weapons.

After all that's one of the best aspects of relic yea? Customizing your secondaries..

They could have just started this relic at that phase for the i170 weapon...

Really they could have at least had that melding phase in this patch.. The custom secondaries is now what makes relics relics imo..

Cait what? A4S BiS? Not for all weapons plus they are just 210 and relic will continue and stay BiS even when they let us change the stats. And not talking about the 1% that cleared A4S while 99% sitting on ilvl 200 or 205.

There is people who like grind and other that not, deal with it (applies to everyone not just you)

Now about the relic, once you reach last part you have so many options to get the said items instead 1 or 2 which makes less stressful, repetitive and boring. This part just take time and if you don't worry about a timeline you could get it by doing dailies alone and still get your relic. Just don't expect to have it before 3 or more months. The only RNG is on first quest (FATE one) because the rest is clear.

You can get those said items by doing any of this.

You can do multiple things at once, like doing daily beastmen quests, doing your roulettes to get eso, law, poetics and in time trade those 680 in each 3-4 days +/-, doing some hunts and alex nm.
