the grind does not bother me i can block off a little time to grind each day but when I saw that crafting B****S I wanted to just give up even though I won't...

But SE please here me I am an adventurer/raider I do not and will not ever enjoy crafting it's not fun nor is it very rewarding (just look at all the crafter complaining threads) please try to do something different then what 2.0 relic was like...

So doing shit level content doesn't bother you but doing craft that would take you 8 hours play time if you start from 0 does bother you. Strange.

150 hours grinding through the same 4 fights is just terrible

If you will ignore that you can buy them through poetics, law, Beat Tribes, Allied Seals...then yes hf with grinding 150 hrs Alexander.

The better method to get relic would have made people cry even more. SE is handing relics at us on a silver plate and everyone is crying. Knowing you don't need to have a relic before March, it doesn't look like a huge grind.

Players were less crying when we got the relics from quests for free, even then look at 1.x relic questline... i have not often seen so many crying in FFXIV history than yet with 3.15!
There IS a reason behind and your argument is just wrong because its not handing it over to us.

7 hours of fate grinding and i only have two crystals to show for it, and that's only the first part...

It is literally going to take months of grinding to get this relic, the time efffort spent on this weapon compare to the previous alterations across the board from the past is ridiculous for a weapon whose lifespan is not even that long before nerfs/better items come out and a new version needs to be waited on, doing about 3 months worth of content and then having become obsolete :/. I am personally not doing it past the i200 until nerfs there is no incentive and the work does not justify the curve.

if you do your beast tribe daylies it takes about 45 hours to get the 210 relic, which isnt really bad (~90x 30 min)

if you do some other stuff too, the time decreases to maybe 1 month with casual gameplay? same time effort like novus earlier

There IS a reason behind and your argument is just wrong because its not handing it over to us.

It would have been better if the unidentified items were gated behind each floor of Alexander savage. Then to make everyone happy, they could have made the gobdip drop on Void Ark at 3.2. You know, something to make you play with your FC or LS. Instead of that they just found a new way to isolate people from each other.

How do you play with your FC if all you can do is form 8 man groups?
What will you do with your 8th or 24th friend? Let him go alone or left behind?!
In fact FFXIV does NOT support guilds! FFXIV is isolating players into 8 man statics.

ive leveled every DoW, DoM, DoL and DoH to 60. done multiple relics 2.X before the nerfs came. make sure to get all my scrips and tomes capped each week like a good little citizen of Eorza. but Heavensward is killing this game for me.

if i want red gatherer scrips, i best be sure to get blue scrips each week to buy bait. ok, thats routine for me now. crafter scrips, due to inventory problems and my refusal to pay for another retainer requires me to farms a few hours for materials each week to obtain what i dont have on hand. what ever, i do it for the sake of progression.

do all my roulettes each day excluding main scenario, so i can buy eso gear and get a boost in law tomes for the 27,000 it would require to buy the mats needed to craft the 170 crafter gear (just a single piece).

specialist crafting. f me for being an onmi crafter because i refuse to fill the pockets of greedy people with ridiculous prices who believe 2 minutes of time and 200k gil of material is worth several million. nope, got to rely on others now.

raiding. just nope. a1s was easy, a2s i think had the difficulty right, though waves of mobs are annoying, but thats beside the point. a3s, what a spike in difficulty. it wasnt just about skill, or making sure you played perfectly. it had a gear check. didnt win any loot for 7 weeks? sry, but you got to struggle, and hope the stars align if you want to see adds.

now we have the relic. something ive waited in excitement for since expansion released. waited... and waited... i dont mind atmas. hate em but i'll do em. dungeons? i get it, you need people queueing for em to keep em relevant. just wish i got tomes out of them or had something to level. my bad for spending time during the content drought leveling everything to 60. the step after awoken? lol @ getting multiple relics for those classes i maxed out. good bye spending law on crafting mats to progress my crafters past weekly lock outs. going to have to sacrafice time and sanity if i even want to obtain one before it becomes irrelevant, let alone multiple weapons. but damn, i have a life outside the game. maybe i should kiss that good bye?

or i could kiss the game good bye and take a break til things settle down? sure, lets do that and lose your house. possibly both your personal house and fc house depending on if the game has enough to keep the other members active. all that furniture that cant be reclaimed because it gets destroyed on removal has a value of more than some peoples property. so no, got to keep playing. got to keep paying in case i dont intend to quit for good. (not a quit post btw)

the new story content in 3.15? i get it, its not even a full content patch. but running from point A to B to C and killing less than a handful of mobs imo wasnt worth the content.

these last few months only makes me question the future of the game. are we from now on going to be handed ridiculous time sinks like HW relic is in its current state to mask lack of any content? forcing me to do the same thing now, that i been doing for the past half a year now for the sake of an ilvl? i just dont know atm
