I can't help but feel I was lied about the relic. It was suppose to be with me the entire time. The moment 3.0 happened, Relic stopped being useful for me. I waited 5-6 months to grind my way to get it to iLevel 210 and I can't even use it because I already have better. I feel cheated.

Can you quote where we were told the relic weapon would be with us for the WHOLE GAME?

Eh, its not that bad if you are upgrading from Yukimitsu. You actually lose a bit of Skill Speed from the upgrade. Would have like CRIT/DET as much as the next guy though.

Before you continue saying that first step of 2.x had no customization. Atma grind of 2.x was the step that allowed it.

No, it didn't. There were 3 entire steps before the customization stage (base relic, i80; Zenith, i90; Animus, i100). There were 4 steps before customization if you split Atma and Animus into two parts (Atma itself didn't actually increase the weapon's power relative to Zenith, though, WD and all stats remained the same at completion of the stage). We weren't allowed to customize stats until the Novus stage, at i110, which coincided with the second raid tier of ARR.

I'm surprised they didn't let us customize them from the get-go this time, but don't base your frustration on incorrect assumptions.

Accuracy Scholar weapons are extremely useful in progression. Having a weapon with Accuracy is good to meet new Accuracy caps on new fights. Need a better reason? It's not much but it is a reason. The other reason to get it would be if you don't raid but that item can be replace the second Dips will be available if the 210 Eso weapon have better stats (BLM and PLD) for example.
