A positive thread about the relics.

Well long grind aside (because relic grinding has always been simple to warrant all these complaints) I am absolutely loving the look of the Awoken Deathbringer and will proceed to glamming the living crap out of it onto my current weapon when I get my grubby hands on it.

The fact that some weapons have worthless stats should be a good thing. You don't need to farm that weapon, Thordan it's better, don't waste your time =D.

I'd assume they'll eventually have a customizeable stat system a la the old relics. I mean, despite all the complaints, it's pretty parallel to the old relics so far.

Of course they will. The trend here is to copypaste content. So yes, they will have customizable stats via new spherical sphere scrolling scrolls and you will need to look for yellow colored Alexandrite called Alexanium to meld rank V materias and later special mahatmas dropped on 2 hours cooldown fates. Enjoy.

I guess one positive thing I can say is they let you skip part of this garbage questline if you have a zeta. I'm still laughing that they seriously just made Atma 2: The Re-Atma'ing for the first part of this.

A slow start like before but it'll eventually become bis for most classes like the last relic I'm pretty sure.

Thordan's weapons are not upgradeable. The relics will be. People used the same arguments for the 2.0 relic.

As for OP, I agree that weapon is gorgeous! Can't wait to see how they iterate on it in later patches too.
