    Lightbulb New Animus questline

This has been posted in general thread and I figured maybe it was a decent idea to post this here in the suggestion threads as well and sorry for this being as long as it is, just tryin to make a point:

Ok, I understand what I am going to say has been posted and threads opened about it and everything.

This new relic is literally one of the worst possible ways to make a relic quest. The first couple quests, cool, not to bad or anything. Then you get ilvl 200 quest done, and look at what you need to do on the NEXT part. Wow...First off, you need 16 items locked behind master books (getting those alone is a pain in the neck for alot of people, even us that have 60 crafters, grindy grind grind, i already have them but whatever) and specialists. I will have no choice but to end up buying them off the marketboard or find (potentially RMTs) other crafters to make them after I manage all the mats. Right now I have saw some of those items selling for 5 million each. This alone is going to rub people the wrong way so to speak. Not to mention, people are going to resort to buying gil (against ToS but people dont care they already do it on the regular anyways) to attain the needed items. This is going to increase the RMT spam, and going to flood the servers with more and more gil. This part has been badly implemented, and needs to be fixed in someway (i understand prices will drop from 5mil on my server). Most people cannot afford to buy them off the market, the average person is lucky to have 1mil, let alone 5mil for a single item out of 16.

Next thing on the skinner box agenda, law/poetics grind. I know there is some other way to get the unidentified stuff, like I think someone mentioned Alexander Normal. K, that's cool, until you find out how much everything costs and how much effort will need to be put in for your 80 items (96 including the crafted mats). 27000 poetics and 27000 law tomes is NOT something that is going to be fun for almost ANYBODY. If it is for some, ok i guess lol. You have ANY idea how long that will take? (just saw in chat in-game something about 800 alex runs? i already have done like over 1k cause of crappy drop rate before they fixed it, 70 runs on average and have full sets....) I do undestand this isnt meant to be done within a week, I'm cool with that. But this amount of grind is un-called for and makes me think SE literally HATES its players. This particular grind is worse than anything the old relics had, even in its infancy. I'm all for doing some kind of grinding, hell I did 2 different zeta's, some have done ALL of them, but this is going to drive me insane.

Was this meant to last for up to 6 months? If so, why couldnt they mention something to that effect instead of just tossing this out there. This is also going to increase the number of dungeon bots (already been seeing them a lot recently). I could offer suggestions but how many times has SE really looked at suggestions? They have made the perfect Skinner Box, and they love that. (for those that dont know what a skinner box is, search it on google lol, and think about "mmo's" when reading about it, nothing bad, psychology "tool") Actualy I will offer a couple of suggestions, drop the "specialist" part of the crafted items, and lower the amount of seals/tomes needed for the non-crafted items by 33% (50% might be to much) that way this is a little more accessible to people. This was meant for "casual" gamers, not "hardcore" gamers. But, it has become something for a differnt type of "hardcore" gamer and has left actual casual players swaying in the wind so to speak. Yes you can do this over the course of a long period of time (sustainable business model....) but it makes no sense to make it such a long grind that most will lose interest quickly.

I kinda feel cheated since i worked so hard on my zeta, just to turn it in and now i need almost double the amount of work yet again to get another relic. Like i said, making it "grindy" and take a little while is NOT an issue for me, I dont like savage, and I may never do Thordan EX, so grinding for a 210 weapon is legit, but not THIS "grindy". Hopefully really soon they might make a change since SO many people have posted about this.

Rome wasn't built in a single day dude. You can also get some of the items by just doing daily beast tribe quests (Gotta love leveling up alt classes right now, woot). Though personally I would appreciate it if they put a few things in the Grand Company shops (Seals are easyish enough to get and such, and the bombard cores we needed from the original relic stuff was about 80k grand company seals for 4x of them)

Never said it was lol, and like i mentioned a couple times, I dont mind the grind, but this is a little much. This is going to frustrate quite a few people, for instance did the math, it will take (just doing dungeons, i know there are other ways to get them but i didnt include this in my math) 11.5 days per type of tome which equals out to be around 270 hours each, 540 hours. Lets say you just run them for 5 hours a day, because i dont expect people to be on for 18 hours a day and stuff. It will take 108 days. They plan to release 3.2 or whatever in February, that's less than 2 months away. Unless you grind it so much that your eyes bleed you wont be ready for the potential next step. That's why I am saying the stuff I am. Some of the stuff should be reduced, like i mentioned 33% less would do it justice, anymore would make it to quick and less would make it close to the same.

Also, like i mentioned, this was meant as a way for people that don't do end game raids to be able to get a weapon that measures up to end game raid weapons. The way this is setup, is not for casuals, this is for people that plan to grind for a very long time which to me ends up being "hardcore" style, not casual. Its just a thought either way, 90% of the people I have spoken with in-game says they wont even attempt it. They plan to do to ilvl 200 and stop. Kind of a bad idea to keep it this way when they put effort into developing this stuff for people to actually play it. If people dont go past ilvl 200, isnt it somewhat pointless to have put this in the game? Dont get me wrong some will get the 210 weapon, but I can prolly list on my fingers how many per server will sit through and do it.

Also, i reiterate "sustainable business model". The way its designed isnt to let us get our weapons, its to (hopefully) keep people paying for the game over months and months. People that play are already planning on paying consistantly for the foreseeable future, why design something like this that could very well keep people from actually wanting to play LoL. We pay to enjoy this game, not to feel frustrated. Just think it's a bad way to implement this new relic though in all seriousness.
