Final Fantasy XIII Hair/Outfit

Hi , i started playing FFXIV in april when the other FFXIII event's past and i was wondering if the Lightning hair/outfit will ever be on sale in the Mogstation or if the event will ever return.

I swear id pay like a hundred dollars just to have it because i love the lightning hair but it seems i wont be able to get it

Oh dear, there are like 5 threads (if not more) about it - I haven't played during any of the events but I believe lightning struck 3 times already
Ppl are asking about this like mad every month so we can safely assume they will put the items on the mog station bc they will do a lot €€€$$$ with it

I just wish one of the devs could at least let the public know if we just wait it will definitely be up or at least that they are looking into it , the community is sorta in the dark about this and im sure its extremely wanted.

Honestly while there are a million threads on the issue, half of the reason there are is because we've had absolutely no word from the devs or community reps over whether they'll even consider putting the old Lightning event items (outfits, weapons, and clothes) in the Mog Station at some point in time. Even a simple yes or no would alleviate part of the problem with all of these threads constantly coming up.

Me personally, I say throw them in the station already so people can finally stop asking (and subsequently people can stop being annoyed that people are asking). Not to mention I'd love to have the hair for my current character who was made way past when the last strike landed.

Exactly! I Figured since the New lightning returns game is on sale on Steam now i thought they would either bring back the event or put it for sale. I knew there was multiple topics on this but because i saw on the FFXIV subreddit devs are responding on Miqo'te new doze animations and zeta replicas etc that they could at least talk about an issue that many people just want some sort of new info on.

Thing is, at one point the community reps (I wanna say it was Bayohne, I could be wrong it was a long time ago DID respond, saying they had no future plans to do it again, after the second event, and they turned around and ran it again during the summer (I wanna say i t was the 1 year anniversary?) so just because a rep says something, doesn't mean jack all. I say throw the event up again, who cares? It's not like it'll take away from dev resources to flag some already-made data again

You have a point, but this is more of a discussion for them putting it in the Mog Station is what I was speaking of. We've had literally no word yes/no/maybe/probably not about it, which I think is something that's agitating some people who would really like to get the items.

And yeah, honestly I agree, either throw the event up every year or so along with all the old spinoff events, or just throw the items in the station and let us be done with the entire thing. The resources are in the game either way, so it isn't like it'd be overly difficult to do either or.

Much as I'd like to get it for my alt account, I just don't think it's happening.

Lightning Returns was just released on PC and if they were ever going to run the event again, that was the time to do it, but as you're aware, that didn't happen so it seems very unlikely the event it self will ever run again, it just wouldn't make any sense with nothing linking to it.

Likewise they could have added it to the cash shop a long time ago, but if they were going to do that then they would have done it already. I thought perhaps they were holding out until the PC game released, but nope...

The items they added back to the cash shop were also either 1.0 items or from previous seasonal events, Lightning Returns items was a special, non seasonal event.

We just need to accept it's not coming back, sorry

I'm aware about that, I was simply saying that a direct response wouldn't really amount to anything because they've gone back on it once before in the past, so it could easily be flip flopped again, if they said yes and then the team in charge of that said no, there'd be a huge riot, bigger than when they said no and then decided yes (and yes, people were pissed about it happening for the third time, even, for some reason I never quite understood)
