    Unhappy 0 Platinum packs and 5,974 MGP for doing all 45 tournament matches in Triple Triad

    I know I didn't score in top 20, and I lost and drew a few matches, but I thought that completing all your matches was supposed to get you enough points to get a consolation pack (pre-3.0 I was winning 3 packs a week, post-3.0 and the tournament fix I was winning 2 packs a week)

    Did something change recently? Since it is impossible to legitimately score top 3 in the tournament due to win trading and exploits, Platinum packs are the only way to win a Lightning/Tidus/Cecil/Firion card (since Tataru for Lightning is no longer available)

    Are fixes coming in 3.15 or 3.2 to make this system actually work?

    Sounds like bad luck.

    I done all my matches didn't place at all and got 8K MGP and 2 Platinum packs giving Shiva -_- and that Ascian creep.

    (Didn't win more than half my matches either)

    I don't know why they keep nerfing NPC matches when people win trade to get top placement, NPC matches should be encouraged as an alternative to defeat the cheating in the system.

    If you want to get any real reason to enter the tournament and get stuff then you'll have to play legit, by wintrading.

    Sadly, playing properly legit gets you... nothing. And this is why I don't go to Gold Saucer to do anything but mini-cactpot now, to call it a joke would be to understate my feelings toward it.

    Plat packs are based off your score, you have to cross the 2000 threshhold to get any and its about 1 additional for every 1000 points after that, or so I would assume. I've only gotten 4 once.
