It's easier to receive advice with a please than a demand. No but the advice is valid unless you actually want to see this thread closed. Post something relevant other than *herp durp bump*
Otherwise the mods the real forum police can easily close the thread and swing banhammers around if they feel like it with impunity mind you.
So it's not really bad advice and maybe you need to roll your eyes over the forum rules if you want to keep contributing and not wind up like half the reddit population that has been banned from the official forums.
Anyone who has ever used a Pld in a raid where Hallowed ground as part of the strat know what a nightmare it is to wait on that skill to reset every single wipe.
Still no official word on this?
I was very disappointed that new QoL improvements were announced and this was not one of them.
And no, I don't think a flying turtle mount is an adequate trade-off or a more pressing priority (but that's just my personal opinion).
Look like no dev will ever answer this until yoshida decides so
They've said in live letters that they'll look into doing it. This was months ago.
This would still be nice to see.
Last night my group went into A6S progression. First pull, our PLD forgets to Silence the first Mind Blast. We wipe due to beating on each other was well as us all getting locked in place when mines come down.
We then had to wait for all DPS cooldowns. So. Raging Strikes alone for our SMN. Raging Strikes plus all the other buffs for MCH. Kassatsu for our NIN, as well as Internal Release and B4B for both NIN and MNK. Perfect Balance for our MNK. x2 Aetherflows for me (SCH) and SMN. Plus all the gross WAR buffs that I don't care about. And of course, lovely pots.
We ended up waiting like 3 minutes, when we were already on a shortened schedule. Considering we pulled perhaps 5 nights before our SMN had to leave, that accounted to roughly 12 minutes (plus more depending on where we wiped) of raid time lost. Considering we only went for one food, which was 40 minutes: we only had 28 minutes of actual raid time.
To take this into account, every four nights we raid, we essentially lost an entire food and then some. And that's only with one food (our group in particular goes 4 foods a night typically). For DPS (and SCHs who use Crit food), it adds up big time cost wise. Baked Pipira Pira goes for roughly 50k on my server, give or take. And we're not even going to get into how much Steamed Staff costs for our SMN and WAR when he has the right gear.
Plus, when we are going for the kill, it's literally a waste of life. (Yes, may be over dramatic.) We essentially sit around waiting for everybody's CDs to come up - we don't have anything to discuss strat wise outside of the, "why did you die? why did we wipe?" type of deal.
SE, pls implement.

Thank you I actually was not aware that you cannot just bump a post. Anyways, I am glad to see people posting more of their experiences, and keep it up everyone! No but the advice is valid unless you actually want to see this thread closed. Post something relevant other than *herp durp bump*

im here because im waiting for Battle voice to come off cd and bored of staring at the boss, still 3min to go....after its ready i will probably have 3 mins left on my food...i wasted half of that food just waiting on cds....
SE i beg u ,reset cds , and put food on 1h duration.
I've never been terribly hard core in endgame but I've had plenty of experiences where I have popped Hallowed Ground in an "oh shit" moment and we still wiped a bit later anyway.
It would be great to not have to wait for the cooldown. Would also expedite practice runs.
