Or a 'smart roulette' that has all flying mounts, and only includes land-based mounts when you are in zones where flying is impossible.

That's not what I suggested. Please read the context of the whole post instead of reacting to only half of the statement.
I suggested one button that intelligently includes the mounts that can participate, based on the zone you are in- and omits the mounts which cannot traverse the zone unencumbered.
Logically the button would also apply to swimming mounts when swimming roulette is added presumably in 4.0.
Because by your post, I assumed you didn't know about the existence of the flying roulette, as what you suggested already basically exists in the game.
All flying mounts have ground capabilities, so there is no reason to have a "ground only" roulette. They added a flying roulette because not all mounts had flying capabilities. And when/if we get swimming, I'm sure they'll add a "swimming only" roulette.

I get what you're saying and I think a one button smart roulette would be nice, but I don't see a big deal between having the 2 buttons we already have. The Mount Roulette includes ALL mounts, the Flying Mount Roulette only includes flying ones. I don't mind having 2 buttons but I do understand what you're saying.
I just wish I could kick a couple of mounts out of my roulette, lol.
I really regret getting that broomstick mount. I can't stand using it when I get it from my flying mount roulette.
