Mindless <> Boring. Mindless is something that doesn't require a ton of focus. Mindless can be fun. To answer your question about why not having something engaging? Why can we have both options available? There are times when I don't want to do something that requires every ounce of focus I have. Maybe you don't like that, but I sure as hell do.Is that really what you want from your content, though? Something mindless? Why even bother doing it at that point? If something is "mindless", I don't see how it can be considered good, fun content. I had a friend tell me that she enjoys Diadem because she can not pay attention and watch Youtube at the same time. Is she *really* enjoying Diadem at that point? Shouldn't content be fun and engaging? I don't see how something can both be not boring and mindless at the same time.

So basically playing the game... but not really playing the game... I don't get it.Mindless <> Boring. Mindless is something that doesn't require a ton of focus. Mindless can be fun. If I need to look at something else to distract myself and have fun when supposedly I'm playing this game to have fun, might as well play something else since the game is failing to do what it's intended to achieve. This is a weird argument that I see thrown out a lot, "I loved atmas because I watched netflix while I did it". What!??
No, that's not what I said. This isn't about having two things running at the same time. This is about having something low stress/focus as an option. There are times when having the challenge is great. But if that was the entire game experience I'd unsub. Wandering looking for hunts and the like? I can switch into a lower gear.So basically playing the game... but not really playing the game... I don't get it.

Hey I have nothing wrong with having relaxing content where you can just sorta shut your brain off. The issue is...That's the ONLY option right now, other than Savage (which is now 5 months old) and Thordan, which only lasts so long as "content".No, that's not what I said. The mindless content we have:
- Diadem
- Beastmen Dailies
- Expert Roulette
- FATEs
- Hunts
Pardon the tangent. I don't disagree with the basic premise of your thread, SE screwed up the content in 3.1 and 3.15.

No need for a pardon! I agree with you, I like to turn my brain off at times and do some relaxing content. However, it's a shame that they've not implemented more content that requires some focus.
