    Desert Yellow » Dalamud Red
    RGB(219, 180, 87) » RGB(120, 26, 26)

    Difference: Red: -99, Green: -154, Blue: -61

Feed all of the following in one feeding to change to your desired colour:

    16 × Mamook Pear, 21 × Xelphatol Apple, 25 × O'Ghomoro Berries

Note: It is recommended to alternate your fruits when feeding, so that you do not max out your RGB values by continually feeding the same type of fruit. i got this for http://ffxivchocobo.com/en#results

i find it hard know how do which fruit and which order to do them in

There's some randomization with the results, so the exact quantities of each fruit really needed to achieve the desired color are unknown. Likewise, since you theoretically need all of them, the order does not really matter. According to the site, if you want the color in minimal time, you would just feed everything it says and, if you don't get it, repeat the process (hopefully requiring much less the second time around). Personally, though, I just picked one at a time and fed enough of the one fruit until I got the message about growing new feathers. Takes way longer as you have to wait six hours for each shift but potentially far more efficient as far as the quantity of fruit used.
