Anyway to make leveling more fun?

I am leveling till 54 and i feel the quest was rather repeative and kinda slow. I actually prefer fate leveling but the process is kinda slog as the experience given is low plus in high level i notice no one is doing fate for leveling.... Please kindly advice how you guys actually manage to level till 60....

Personally, I liked the quest leveling and wish I could do that for each of my jobs.

However, as a Dark Knight, you have instant dungeon queues. Do your 50, trial, main scenario and leveling roulette every day + queue up for the highest dungeon avail if you have time after that.

You're leveling a tank so you should be doing dungeons constantly, check with your FC and linkshells to see if anyone needs a quick queue and go HAM. Most people are leveling pretty quickly now with the recent exp buffs to HW dungeons.

Even as a BLM, your best bet is to do dungeons. I would do the 4 roulettes I mentioned - they will pretty much give you 1 level per day.

You can also do your clan hunts, there is 1 star available at 53, 2 star at 56 and 3 star at 59. These involve killing 2-3 enemies in 5 locations per star per day. Completing each enemy gives about 25k exp. It's not a whole lot, but it's something.

Honestly though, if it is your first time playing through, I'd do the main scenario quests at the very least. It's a great story.

Tanking can be stressful at times, you're also playing as the most technical tank in the game. I'd say take a break from it and come back after a few days to a week

Currently, dungeons are the fastest way to get 60.

Personally, I've been leveling the dragoon (2nd job past 50) using the daily Clan Hunts [level 1 and 2] plus that Vanu beast tribe quests. Kill 1-3 beasts five times for each level of clan hunt, get around 125K XP. Do 3 beast tribe quests (they actually adjust for anything level 50+), earn another 150K XP.

If you have NOT reached level 60 on anything yet, do the quest lines and dungeons that accompany them. I reached Azys Lla and got to ride the dragon just before hitting 60 -- and finished the MSQ after spending a small amount of time finishing the Clan Hunts for level 1, 2 and 3 that day.

Note that you might not get any level 60 dungeon instances if you don't complete the MSQ. You certainly can't fly in an area until you've finished the last quest there (which is usually an instance unlock and run).
