Thread: More Name Display Options

(Forgive me if this has been suggested/mentioned before, I've just recently returned and have not had time to read through all the patch notes/letters/forum posts. )

This is a very tiny suggestion but one I feel would make a huge addition to user interface customization and the overall feel of the game - being able to select exactly what names appear on screen, instead of just having a blanket on/off switch for all of them. Personally, I would love an option allowing me to turn off just my character's name, but leave everyone/everything else enabled.

So, to give a more specific example of what could be implemented, give us options to enable/disable names for:

+ Your character
+ Other Player Characters
- Friends
- Party Members
- Linkshell Members
- Everyone else
+ Friendly NPCs
+ Non-friendly NPCs
+ Current target (solo/party)
etc...

I know this is incredibly nitpicky. Just a suggestion I think would make the game that much better.

Please add this, I want to be able to see other peoples names but not my own. My own character name display ruins the background views.
