    Missing Materia

    Enfeebling and Enhancing Magic Potency materia seem to have been left out of the possible materia pool. As a THM who prefers a red-mage style of play, this disappoints me.

    Any thoughts/others noticed we should have added?


    And to clarify that I am aware that piety has this effect, although diluted:

    4 points of piety seems to give 1 point of enfeebling potency, at least for rank 50 THM and CON, the only classes I can personally check for the stat.
    I would much prefer dumping straight into the potencies for specialization.

    That aside, there are many materia ideas to give the team --- haste%, double attack, en-fire and other elemental effects, status ailments, small regen/refresh effects.

    If we are going to have this materia system, I want to see it at it's finest, with an abundance of choice. ^^




    Lastly, here is an interesting idea from Irondude on a new key item:

    we should add materia that gives "chocobo speed+20" for more speed or "style +20" so our armor would glitter and shine, it could add a diversity to Roleplay

    Totally agree with OP.

    Would like to open the discussion up a little too as I see this topic is relevant to a broader concern I have. And that is, understanding the stats in general. First off, there is way too many stats and they aren't easily understandable. Hopefully in 1.19a or 1.20 they will streamline them or simplify them so it is more readily understandable. Anyone agree with this?

    One suggestion I have, is when you hover over the stat in your attributes it explains the stat in an understandable way like "Chance of enfeebling monster your level is 97%" or something like that. Also, making Strength, Dexterity, etc equate to intermediary stats (e.g., Attack, Accuracy) more clearly would help. For example, 1 Strength = 2 attack, etc.

    Finally, why does repose never work for me lol? Even with dark seal. I just don't get 'enfeebling potency' I guess, or magic accuracy...no idea. Again, confusion.

    I want materia that adds things like Gil obtained from monster kills +1% +2% etc, and experience gained increased by 1%, 2% or higher.

    Would also be nice to have augmentive materia, like "Augment's Accomplice", "Augment's Emulate".

    Could be cool to see things like "Increases chance of mining/botanising/fishing rare items" and "Decreases chance of fail on synthesis" too. All things I imagine they have planned.
