Best way to recruit someone to help with quest and linkshell

Hi, i am a level 25 PUG and been playing for just under 3 weeks, i have only partied with one person in this time to do an hours levelling.

I am doing a limsa lominsa grand company quest which requires at least one other party member. So far i have tried shouting in areas for help and used the recruit function to no avail.

I am at the point where i'd prefer to party than solo like i have been doing, but i'm strugling with what to do.

Any help would be appreicated, thankyou!

Hey. I'm finding it a struggle to level too - 19 LNC, 13 CNJ, 11 THM and craft jobs like Culinarian and Botany 13. It's not so much the actual solo-ing, but the time it takes to just grind out a level by yourself. I have a friend from FFXI who also plays, but he's on far less than I am and most of the time I'm just wandering around by myself.

I joined a linkshell today, but initial impressions are that they're much higher level and aren't interested in lower-level stuff. Also haven't ever seen any shouts for anything under 20 since I joined a week ago. Mostly lvs 40-50 shouting and there's no real low-level community going on, it feels like.

If you want to team up and level, do random quests and leves etc. let me know. Always glad to meet new people who also like to explore and kill things! I'm a Gridanian and can't join a Grand Company yet (can you join any nation's GC?), but I'm aiming to do it when my Lancer gets up there.

Hi. I managed to find a couple of members who needed to be in a party to do the same quest too, we just gave it a go but it didnt go well haha. We were all level 25 and the beasts were all level 31 so we ended up leaving the quest as we was getting nowere.

Yes i have joined all 3 grand companies but if you want your own chocobo you have to pledge your alligence permanently to one of the companies, but you can do quests for all 3 untill you are ready to do that.

I have just been logged out, lost my connection but will be back on soon, im just around camp tranquill in gridinia doing leves etc, il add you when i get back on.

Black Shroud seems to be less populated than the other zones and I see a lot more shouts in Uldah when I'm there.
