is there any hope that we'll finally be able to 1v1 in the Wolve's Den? I'd personally love to go head to head with some of my FC and LS buddies. Doesn't even have to be ranked or offer rewards. Just something cool they could add. (Could even be a practice mode so to speak)

This will never happen.
1v1 would only be fair if you fight the same person on your class and even then SCH vs. SCH fights or AST vs. AST fights sound miserable. Could you imagine a WAR vs. BRD? lol.

Hey, even if it's a pipe dream, I can still dream of a "Duel" mode. I will agree though, in almost all but Melee Dps vs Melee Dps matches it's be a little strange to a complete farce.

PLD vs PLD would be like watching paint dry.

I think Warrior vs Dark Knight could be interesting, but again, I see how 1v1 doesn't exactly work well with the combat system design.

FF14's combat is too slow for an interesting 1v1 match.
