Aside from FATES (which is pointless if there arent other players around) there isnt anything else to do. I am leveling some of my classes and the only thing that I do in the open-world is the rank 1 and 2 hunts, the rest of the time, I am in the city waiting for a queue to pop. Maybe if Leves were not so boring, I might have done some of them.
I know people are going to hate me for saying this, but maybe they should add castles or hubs where FC can compete against each other in the open-world, this should bring life to the zones.
the new leves introduced in HW are bad....why? i still dont know, becase HW was a good time to introduce a way to level alts....the whole 2.0 leveling was fate spam until your eyes bleed.....3.0? the same fate spam in the same spots
i was leveling my drk some days ago in N.Thanalan and some leveled to 59 there....the new zones are a ghost town ...and its a shame that its that way....because N.Thanalan is boring we have been there for 2 years....and i guess we will be there 2 years more. Thats why im lvling Drk because i do dungeons spam after DR.

I transferred from Framfrit to Excalibur like 4 days ago because the realm is dead, Odin appeared once and only 25-35 people appeared and even places like Iddleshire are empty but Excalibur has always people around and Im able to lvl up with fate parties so I guess that not all the servers are having issues.
To be fair that one is probably because Odin's is very old content now and a lot of people (everyone I know anyway) has already beaten him multiple times and got everything they wanted from the his drop. I personally have everything and 35 spare mantles left over tooSome new loot in that one would be nice.
Didn't they buff Odin to level 60 as well? I thought I heard that somewhere. They thought to change the fight, but didn't think to give you a new incentive to do the fight. Brilliant. To be fair that one is probably because Odin's is very old content now and a lot of people (everyone I know anyway) has already beaten him multiple times and got everything they wanted from the his drop. Yes I am pretty sure you are right and he has been buffed since his original incarnation, but without new rewards/reasons for players to actually beat him (if they have everything they want) they should probably lower him back to his previous level (although that would then make him a joke so...) :S
He only goes up to 60 if you beat him multiple times. Since no one does him, last time I saw him on Cactuar, he was Level 50... and he melted with only one group of 60s.
Was around when Odin spawned once, had no idea where it spawned and kept asking for invite to group but never got any, so I went back to mine ore.To be fair that one is probably because Odin's is very old content now and a lot of people (everyone I know anyway) has already beaten him multiple times and got everything they wanted from the his drop. There is no point in being in the zones. And honestly why do you care? Get your quests done and then do the real content (PF/DF). Open world has NEVER been interesting since if it is worth doing it will be zerged. IE no skill just spam.
