I do apologize if this is in the wrong section. But my question is relevant to the title. I was looking to craft some of this armor and inquired around via my ls and friends and nobody knew anything about what dropped the Hawksbill Shell. The best answer anyone could find is that an Angler near Emerald Moss. Would anyone have further information as to point me in the correct direction?

Head down into Casseopia. You will find what you seek There is also a good spot to find them that was introduced in 1.19, but I will say no more concerning that.

Ah darn I was just down there. A friend linked me to ZAM but and the site said giant slugs. I didn't find any I was killing orobons but none were dropping it. Lol, I should of killed a crab or two I guess. Thanks a bunch my lnc very much appreciates it. ^^

You're on the right track with the orobons in Casseopia. If you want the higher drop rate though there is a deep dark cave near Limsa Lominsa.
