Enmity Traits and Materia discussion (long)

Hi. Had longer post... then just made this tldr version and cut out most of post.

How much of an enmity impact do enmity altering traits and materia stack?

Has there been enough impact, where you as a tank does not need to use Accomplice on a DPS/healer to maintain enmity? Or as a DPS/healer, not needing to use Chameleon, Soughspeak, Quelling Strike, Collusion, etc to avoid enmity?

Has the Intimidation and Out of Sight traits been enough for parties generally?

I took a look at the Dated Maddening Dagger and if I recall, it had +25 enmity. How much enmity could be stacked on a belt in addition to this before reaching the item contribution cap?

IDK, but if enmity generation is 1-1 point for point like everyone says, + or - enmity abilities/items really dont have that much of an impact, especially for a gladiator.

If it were up to me, each point of damage/healing would be set to say.... 50 or so enmity. And enmity reduction/icreasing abilities would increase/decrease enmity per point instead of the total damage/healing done.

IDK how they do it tho.

As of yet I've been unable to get my hands on any +enmity gear or materia (plenty of damn tier 3 mind materias, though), but I've been doing a decent bit of tanking since the patch. As Gladiator (and Marauder), single targets are 100% no problem to hold with just Intimidation and regular hate skills. Provoke2/Disorient2/Accomplice/etc all do more than enough, and it's a little mindless (not that that's a bad thing on fights without hate gimmicks). +enmity materia will probably play a bigger role for me oncethe damage dealers I group with start maximizing their materia and really riding the hate line.

AOE hate can be a little tricky but with proper setup, self healing, and using accomplice at the right time it's really not that bad either. The biggest problem is getting hate on stuff that joins the fight after the initial war drum and stuff. Self healing helps a lot there, though. +enm materia would help you really lock stuff down quick so your group can basically just AOE clear a dungeon. Also AOE hate with Marauder is a joke - Storm's Path is completely ridiculous and I wish I still had it as Gladiator.

Ah sorry I guess I didn't really answer any of your questions. I don't know! Intimidation is supposedly 10%, so that might mean that +1 enm is +1% - but maybe not. If it is 1% and it stacks (which I'm betting it does because really, why wouldn't it?) then +enm materia is really, really good. 12% more hate is 12% more damage your damage dealers can do.
