    Law Healer gear needs Accuracy.

Please can a Dev. look into this? not every healer likes to stand there spamming cure 1 when tanks lose 1% HP, Some healers like to attack.

Same goes with hunts, some of us like to attack those rather than spam medica 2.

    Please, please, please add accuracy

but if they did that it would have to end up replacing another stat... like critical... which needless to say would anger a lot of scholars...(adlo crit is amazing)

I think Ruby is referring to the 'bonus' accuracy we had on i100 gear and up during the 2.X cycle. Small bits of accuracy on gear that didn't take away points from the actual available pool of secondary stat numbers.

    They've adjusted accuracy requirements.

Only SE has the numbers so take this with a grain of salt, but my perception is that the minimum accuracy from bosses has been nerfed, meaning if T13 had for example an accuracy cap of 515, if you had 400 you would literally miss 50% of the times (making DPS without accuracy almost unviable). It seems this is no longer the case, because despite people claiming that the accuracy of Ravana is well over 500 too, I don't seem to miss much even with 354 accuracy, so I suspect the minimum % to hit a boss has been upped (if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say around 70%, so you still hit pretty consistently even with 0 accuracy).

Honestly i do not know why they do not just add accuracy to cleric stance, like they did with tanking stances

I first happily bought those law gear too... and after a couple days used tanks jewels instead, made of Accuracy/Vitality/Crit/Deter

After the switch (ilvl 176), my healings heal about 200 hp less than they used to, I have ~ 100 less in piety. On the other hand, I gain in Vitality, I don't "miss" anymore, and my healings crit more often.

At this level, when your non-crit cureII hits 5k or so, losing 200hp is rather insignificant to me. I was starting to sit on my mana before switchng anyway, ending all fights full mana, even while dps'ing and doing a couple raises.

the way i see it the reason it was added to tank stance is cause if a tank isn't hitting there not getting aggro and if they are not getting aggro then they cant be considered a tank... but in the case of healers they don't "need" to dps it is just a benefit if they want to do so. it isn't actually part of there core job to "need" to hit the enemy

We have offensive spells, would be a waste not to use them... some of us do attack and that is just the way we play healer, and everybody likes a healer that attacks.

im not saying it is bad to do dps as a healer (i do it all the time as a scholar) what i am trying to say is that it is not a "main" part of the class to hit the enemy the "main" part is to heal doing dps comes after that.

This is a likely theory, or some of it anyway. Numbers are of course arbitrary, but it was the conclusion I also arrived to, given the accuracy caps in general haven't gone down. (As tanks have had misses in Ravana EX with accuracy below that of the FCoB levels).

That being said... Missing still sucks. I actually have a full set of penta-melded i150s but they don't really make me feel that great, because of that i160 gating for V-materia... I have a feeling I'll love having +15 VIT on accessories for progression (for undergeared t13-like fights) and the 2nd to 5th slots having something else.
