Poll for those of you on the fence or planning on leaving...

Out of curiosity, those of you who are contemplating leaving, have decided to leave and come back when 2.0 comes out, or just plain leaving....Which of you would change your mind and stick it out and pay monthly fees if Square Enix decided to charge 50% of the monthly fees as a concession since they are saying the game is at 50% completion? Would that be enough to keep you around longer?

I would pay 50% of the original fee in order to keep playing for the next year. I think it would help keep people who wouldn't pay ~$15 for a game they consider incomplete. Only requiring to pay ~$7 for a monthly subscription could be a huge incentive for those considering leaving, while still providing income to the team and the company to spend on resources for FFXIV.

I'm pretty sure most of those who leave the game, will come back when patch.2.0 arrives. Still, I do wonder how many of them would lose interest in that period. You know, a year is quite a long time, indeed.

i would not even consider leaving if they charged half price. i just can't justify the reason to pay full price for a half completed game. i will likely stay anyways since the core of my ls is staying although one of my bigger social ls's is losing well over half of the people we have talked to. if i stay or not i think the full price is a horrid decision at this point.
