hi im a kiwi looking for other kiwis/ ausies, looking to transfer into the chaos data center and was wondering what would be a good server to go to. zalera is dead it takes too long to que these days. thanks in advance

Tonberry is regarded as being the AU/NZ/Oceania server, although it is on the JP server group. I've heard because of this it is very hard to get onto. Masamune is another server I heard has a large AU/NZ population on it as well.

I play on Shiva and one of my friends is from New Zealand. We're a fairly populated server, though it dies down around the time you would most likely be on, (around noon-1pm your time). Still don't really have any trouble finding DF groups later at night since there's still a lot of US players like myself on them, but time is a bit longer than during the day, especially for tank waits. If you do decide to choose an EU server over a JP one, and choose Shiva, let me know and I'll invite you to my FC.....

Also, for those of you who don't know, "Kiwi" is a colloquial term for someone from New Zealand, named after their national bird, the Kiwi bird. I pester my friend constantly because she lives there and hasn't petted one despite them being absolutely adorable, (I've been obsessed with them since I was a kid). And yes, I know that since they're protected, they probably can't be petted easily, but that's beside the point entirely......

Honestly, that's when I'm personally on the least often. From my past experience though, it's the slowest around 6 pm your time, (though not with completely outrageous que times or anything), but begins to pick up the closer you get to 12 am, as the more and more of the EU population begins to log on.....

When she gets back to me, I'll let you know what my NZ friend says on the matter, since she has a better understanding of it than I do.....

EDIT: My NZ friend, as well as another I have who's from AUS both say that while it's a little slower than during prime time, (obviously), it's still not too bad in terms of the DF. As for running around, you might have trouble with hunts or PF groups, but will still see a few people here and there....
