    Improving smaller garden plots

Right now there are three garden patches available to use, but anyone who does any gardening generally will only use the Deluxe garden patch because it allows for 8 plants to grow. It would be nice to see some diversity in which garden patches people use, but it probably won't happen unless the other two patches get buffed! It would be nice if the smaller patches possibly grew plants more quickly to be on par with the large one, or had some other buff to them that would make them worth using.

They look nice, so I want to be able to use these without affecting how much I can grow.

Agreed. A timer normalization would be nice.

I want to get rid of that stupid scare crow on the deluxe one. I'd rather have nothing at all, that thing is just ugly.

The mid size garden plot already has an advantage, you can cross 3 spots agains 1 expensive seed.

I would like that option as well. I like the scarecrow, but having three of them side by side (mansion yard) is a bit overkill. A single scarecrow for three garden patches is more than enough.

that's true but does anyone do that? who owns a house can afford soil and seeds but cheaps out that way? i've never seen that plot actually used in my Ward or my FC Ward.

I've never seen anyone use anything but the largest size plot. No guides I've read covered how to cross-breed with the small and medium options, either.

Well any gardener that's really serious about gardening is crossing his own seeds. We dont buy them of the marketboard. Because of that we often dont realise the value of the intermediate seeds. Also the 2 extra spots are 2 more potential crossed seeds.

Its usefulness has to do more with discovering crosses than mass production. Granted this has limited application after the crosses are public, however its a huge benefit it leading edge items and can allow you to discover and bring to market much faster and cheaper otherwise.
