Flying... wow, is it bad

Its so simple, I don't see how it could be so troublesome to you. I have never tried its with MB and mouse, I do everything except type with a with my controller, and have never had trouble.

I do hope they keep flying in the future... I don't care for the bigger areas, but flying is fine.

If anything, I wish they'd make flying "easier" to obtain. Yes, it was easy to obtain flying but "exploring" the areas for aethercurrents felt everything but "fun" to do. Just give us a quest next time or make it like in most games: you fly at cap and "GG"

PS: Oh and yes this is personal opinion too but apparently everything that's against the game is considered trolling so, just putting that there to say that I'm being serious.

It was pretty tedious... but after unlocking flying with four characters, I'm pretty over it. They at least bumped the quest currents up to the front of quest chains. I wish they'd get rid of the quest ones all together. I didn't mind searching for the currents, but having to do dungeons or quests I actually found more annoying.

Me too. Not sure how anyone could have trouble with it unless they've never played a video game in their entire life.

I play with a controller and find it super easy to use. double tap jump and hold it to go up and descend button to go down. Don't know wtf else you want to make it easier. You can even dive bomb with left stick click to go straight down. And even move the camera up to fly up and move it down to go down. I dunno wtf you're using but it's super easy already with a controller.

I do hope they discontinue having us fly in future content with these controls. But really, even with desirable controls.. do we even really need it? Heavensward proved yes, yes we did because of the content and areas... but can we please get away from it if this is what we have to contend with?

Let it die with Heavensward, never continue it's need please.

UPDATE: I've explored flying with a keyboard and mouse and the controls of flying are fine, but with a controller they are pretty bad and not enjoyable. Also other reasons I dislike flying still stand, such as zone design which I did elaborate on later in this thread. (Sorry for going into detail originally)
