I think I know what you mean. The quick ventures have started providing almost constantly high level goods since 3.1 dropped. This has caused previously valuable gear, like the Kirimu stuff you mentioned, to tank in value.

It may be gambler's fallacy but I'd previously see something really valuable maybe one in every 20-30 ventures, now it's very rare to *not* get (what were) valuable stuff. I've got screenshots where 4 retainers were on Quick Ventures and all 4 brought back something that made me gasp, even those at low level. It wasn't a one off either. I'm not saying they're bringing back i150+ stuff but I'm seeing 2.x 3* crafts & materials, along with rare dungeon drops, very regularly.
