Yes, I have. Just trying to get the general publics opinion on the matter, which would the community like best in the end? Not saying I don't like it. I would like the more manly version of it though.

Now hear me out... Wouldn't you, the people wanting the male miqote race to be a playable character, wish for it to be a little bit more manly? Like imagine a male miqote with similar body features like the famous Bruce lee had a firm core, toned. However his chest size is too big to be that one of a male miqote... Here's my depiction of what a male miqote should look like:

The shoulders would be broad, the chest size not too much, the core would be toned and a bit built, but still slim. The Forearms could be a bit more broad or just the normal size. I wish for the image of the male miqote to become more bad ass in general. To have similarities of the race, just not look like a girly boy.

Note: It's a quick doodle, just wanted to emphasize on the body's form.
at first i sort of agreed because it would fit my characters lore better if i decided to switch to that race, but on second thought we already have male Highlanders and Roegedyns. male Hyurs theymselves range from average joe to pretty manly.
wouldnt this be the perfect placement for a less macho race?

That's a good question, the more tamed and less macho could turn out as a good addition to the game. Hopefully in a way where the animations and mannerism would be something refreshing and not suggestive. Which I could see happening, since it's SE.

I had more ideas in terms of the body, for example, broad shoulders, thin upper core, but toned. The legs would be a bit more beefy or stronger, to show the genders agility and build as a male... not quite sure on how to express myself on that part. Anyways, it would display the male miqote to be agile over-all. Just putting it out there.

I'll personally be tempted to switch to man-qote due to my prevalene for slim agile characters. But my Elzen has grown on me over XI and XIV, so it may depend on the new creation options for Elzen as well. The Elves fit me better "Stature" wise as I'm tall, but the Miquote fit me better in class I prefer to play.

Either or is good for me...but what is better.

That one concept art image with the black haired manqote makes him seems to be slimmer than midlanders, and that looks okay. they'll either be reskinned midlanders with tails and new faces or something like this.

This is my first MMO and just thought this race was for fan service anyway. I imagine (as somebody who has been to Japan) this race would be absolutely huge over there, but not for being male either. The dragon class sounds interesting though.

I hope they don't look like that.

Honestly.. Every time I see that, I can't help but think of Michael Jackson made up like a cat. Creepy.

Honestly. Anyone ever played the fire emblem series? Im thinking the Cat like Laguz.

Like Ranulf, anyone remember him? Not too muscular but just enough not to be girly. Perfect imo.

http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Ranulf (Ignore the clothes, just talking body here)

But really... im all for choices too.. and having the sun Miqo'te be more liony and muscles and the moon ones being all slick and cat like (aka skinny). *shrug* I see no issue with that.

Choices are good... just my two cents.

Those games on the GC were truly epic. Also I think male cats in that game were just about right. You had your tough lion type cats like Mordecai, and your more slender type cats. Here's a pic of one of the tougher laguz http://fireemblemblog.files.wordpres...0/mordecai.jpg. He could almost pass off as a Roegadyn almost lol. http://fireemblemblog.files.wordpres...-1280x1024.jpg Theres a female for comparison to ours lol. FFXI definitely seemed to do a good job with Lekho. So I'm sure that the devs will probably do a good job on what we will find once they release it.
