Lack of ugly people?

Ugly usually means inherently evil but the Japanese vision of ugly and our idea are somewhat different. Plus, most baddies on FFXIV have redemption somewhere in their stories so aren't 'inherently evil'. An exception would be the Archbishop, he's real ugly.

There are occasionally old characters (both of Miqo and others), but all the ones I can recall are male.

There are a LOT of ugly characters in game, most of them Elezens whose owners destroyed their beauty by adding too many tatoos and face paint.

The ugly characters are all busy hanging out in the Elder Scrolls games.
