Nice video!
SE needs to start implementing anti-cheat measures now, especially with ranked Wolves' Den coming out in 3.2. If people are cheating in a casual game mode such as Seal Rock, they are certainly going to do it in a more competitive setting as well.
inb4 your unfortunate ban. Friends of mine have gotten banned posting about bots/hacker ruining PvP. In the end, the bot/hacker always wins and continues to do whatever they please, while the accuser gets banned. Love how the system works <3.
Unless posting a video is different from pictures, we'll see my friend.
(Psst! Sprint and Mounts move at the same speed.)
I agree, this is ridiculous. I've read about purported speedhackers in the PvP forums before, but I was always skeptical. It can be exceptionally difficult to tell the difference between lag and speedhacking, and no proof was ever posted. Yet the tool in this video decided it was a good idea to make it so blatantly obvious. It can't even be denied, anymore: this is either the most well-edited video I've ever seen or currently working speed hacks for FFXIV do exist. This recording is excellent proof.
OP, I recommend you edit the video once again to remove any instances of that tool's name. Just throw some captions where you spammed emotes to explain that you were doing it to record his name on video but had the blur the name out due to the forum's naming and shaming rule. There's a very real chance you'll be banned for naming and shaming, otherwise. Your video will serve as proof all the same even with the name blurred.
In any case, I commend you for making this proof and bringing this to everyone's attention. I hope this will force SE into action in regards to handling cheating in PvP.

They already are in Wolves Den, they did it during the Primal WD Event last Friday.
Why should the OP get banned? All that can be seem is that the cheating scum was playing Warrior. Unless, of course, outing someone as a Warrior is a banning offence. >.>
if you say you saw a hacker/cheater, thats fine
if you say you saw a hacker/cheater and then provided the server/character name/ location/what the character looks like and give it to the public, you can indirectly spark a witchhunt
this is pretty obvious, one results in the possibility of someone being harassed by people, the other does not
