As you shouldn't use macros for healing or DPS (because macros prevent you from queueing abilities), there aren't many useful macros for WHM. The only macro I personally use on WHM/SCH is "/ac Virus <f>" to use Virus on focus target while I keep the tank as my healing target.
I agree with Taika, macros are generally not the way to go. I do, however, use party text macros so that I can communicate with other healers. Using such things for Raise, Eye for an Eye and Virus etc can help with preventing the other healer losing a chunk of MP by double ressing, using a long CD that won't work etc etc.

Becuase I find those useful in keeping the party topped.I agree with Taika, macros are generally not the way to go. I do, however, use party text macros so that I can communicate with other healers. Some macros I use:
Code:/micon Virus /ac "Virus" <t> /ac "Virus" <tt>This one is bound to my middle mouse button--it just makes it easy to claim mobs out in the overworld and similar.Code:/micon Aero /ac "Aero" <mo>
Other macros I have are announced res, "Do the mechanic!", and "Hey bard I'm out of MP."
Lastly, you can use <tt> macros for DPS... but it's not really suitable for high end endgame.
I tried a mouseover macro a while back. When it worked I didn't really feel like it was helping me that much, but a lot of the times it didn't work for me because I usually hit keys before the GCD is done. And with that it would sometimes miss the first attempt at the macro and then heal the wrong person and so on. There are probably better macros out there, but I didn't feel as if it was helping me in any way and I just don't like how clunky macros can feel.
Also as a SCH in end game raiding, I'm constantly hitting buttons. If I'm not healing I'm back into Cleric DPSing, so that's one more reason I don't use macros. There's never usually a moment when I'm idle and waiting for a GCD to finish for me to carefully press the next button. ;p
I only sport WHM for the lols and I use simple macros I set up for the moments I DPS (have them mostly set up for my SCH)
/micon "Virus"
/ac "Virus" <t>
/ac "Virus" <tt>
/ac "Virus" <f>
Same for E4E... be aware you might need to click 2-3 times until it goes off (hence no text attached).
I don't have a raise macro... because it doesnt prevent the other healer from raising same guy <tunnel vision OP> and the bard I usually run with knows when to play ballad or when not and if he misses it or another bard/machinist is around a simple "MP" in chat does the job in 99% cases :3
I wouldn't recommend to macro DPS skills: you lose queueing effects and that would make me not bother with DPSing at all and as stated above its not viable in raid end game![]()
A workaround for this is to attach a "/wait 1" or "<wait.1>". This way you can spam the button without spamming your party with text.
That said my virus macros is silent (And E4E unmacro'd) because I don't think most people care one way or another.
I used to heal with mouseover macros in 2.0 (through first Coil). I gave them up after that because they felt unresponsive compared to healing without macros. Not being able to queue your heals applies to them as well.
The only macros I use are all situationnal. As a healer, I am obviously not too keen on spending my mana for raises or damages that should be avoided. The first time I started using them was at the time CT3 was released, and I got fed up with raising people who couldn't even avoid mortal gaze. I was called an idiot or was asked "Do you think we're stupid ?". Stupid ? no. Blind ? certainly. They can call me whatever they like, my job is to heal, not overcompensate for their mistakes. Everybody benefits from the macros, be it me, saving my mana (It's just as much "mana management" as anything else) or them, doing more DPS than when they bite the dust.
From that standpoint, I use :
/p Plateform !
/p Adds !
/p Petrification !
/p Manasong please (autotranslated)
I try to say it short for obvious reasons. Not everybody speaks my language. And I try to use words that are the same in every language. There's only the /p hide which I have yet to figure a generic word.
/p Hide !
I rarely bother using a macro for raises, as Line of Sight can easily break my swiftcast, and most of times I use TS to chat with my FC mates, so we call it orally.
