    A serious gameing issue

Now we all encourage new people to join the FFXIV family but when they get here high level tanks has this bad....Sastasha level 15 the very first dungeon soon as you come in and everyone is new you start pulling EVERYTHING a new healer can't keep up and you die then you start calling them stupid or whatever. My question is what make you think you can force someone who just starting to be on your level? And unless there's a hidden achievement for speed running and missing half the exp for new players... What's the point of doing it? *getting popcorn* I'll wait for it....

dont wait for pop corn....this is basically brought to light every day or so. There is nothing to justify such attitude, but unfortunately, you cant control what others do.

The trick is to grow a thick skin and just dont worry too much about it....Coming in a game and expecting people to have a modicum of education is already startign with the wrong foot. Just tell your friends not to worry and eat the penalty, even report the culprit for insult with print screen might be one of the few things on which mods react, and tell your friends to continue their journey....

It is poor practice to just accept trash play. However Satasha is a beginner Dungeon but starting about Stone Vigil you better have learned something or you just cause everyone to die. That gets old and voting to kick is appropiate.

Its sad how they expect new people to come in and just get rushed through the game and they follow by example so later on in the game they are going to assume that's how it's done when it's really not

This is more of a people issue. You can't change them, they are people who either expect everyone to be as perfect as they are right off the bat, they're tired of doing the same dungeons over and over or they want to rush through to get their roulette bonus.

All of these are just people acting like they want to because they can't elsewhere. Most who expect too much from everyone are just like that anyways. I come across them at work, only thing is they don't have the power to force things to go faster. It makes some rage when I go "No..lets keep it simple take it easy"

The others I think it's just a matter of people playing too much. I noticed I would huff and puff when I got a low level dungeon and wanted it to just be over. Then I started taking breaks. Stopped trying to cap tomes because it didn't really matter, quit trying to level every single class every single day. I'm still a bit bad where I go "you know I want to try this job..just for a bit" when I know I need to focus on more end game things.

After coming back even after a few days or a day I go into these dungeons and enjoy the beauty of them and actually enjoy the game a whole lot more. It gets even worse when I go from PS4 to PC. My animations look so much better and my Roe looks great, I start to do roulettes and maybe I'll get a low level, but I don't care. I'm enjoying and having fun.

I think what gets some people though is a person who can't or doesn't want to work at learning some things. As you go up there are help logs that tell you about combos, hests that put you in an enmity situation with a party of mobs and the other puts you against a suit of armor that has adds that spawn so you can prepare for things at 15. By 15 you have all the tools in the game to get you through it.

Duty Finder = expect to encounter jerks.

Party Finder = Know you'll encounter jerks.

This is nowhere near as common as you or the rest of the community make it out to be. Kinda wish you guys would stop pushing this nonsense that everyone is so mean to each other in the DF.

I guess this makes it sound that about 90% of the time you're running into jerks which is not true. It's not that high but it's high enough that it gets acknowledgement. Then again, neither of us can prove it so it's just our own experiences and word of mouth. For example, I was tanking a dungeon for the first time on my DRK. I let them know I was new to tanking so my pull routes might not be optimal. They said okay and helped me along the way. Wonderful people who were well geared and had complete patience with me.
