Hi guys, Name's Umbreon Skystorm and first I need to tell you my story to make you understand why I'm creating this post.
I wanna help to change my name... I wanna a Cool surname, since during my personal roleplay (since none of my friends like it) I was always kinda dark character instead of a real warrior of light... but after my battle with the warriors of darkness I was chocked to see what darkness can really do to a person (because none of the ancians are considered to me a real person... they are just like... darkness) and now I'm ready to accept my inner light so long sealed and become a true warrior of light and to take my duty as defender of eorzia, not to just save my own skin like I did before... ( Thank for reading a sample of my story)
So now... Skystorm is not a suitable name anymore, I wanted something related to light or to reborn in some language or meaning but I couldn't find any... or maybe some reference that implies that.
And I have a fantasia... is there a race that looks better to be as a Paladin... its strange to be a tank when the boss can eat you because of your size x]

Seeing your first name is a pokemon using a surname of a pokemon that has to do with light like Lanturn or Litwick might work for you. And its hard to see any pieces of armor other than the body piece on a lalafel. Roegadyns and male Au ra are the tankiest looking races since they tower over everyone.

When I played a tank as a Tarutaru in XI, I had macros like "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!" for Provoke.

I think Lala tanks are adorable.

If you want to change your name to be less dark-ish, Lalafell lore and naming conventions would have you do a rhyming or alliterative. "Umbreon" also has dark overtones (e.g. Umbral era.) Did you want to change that as well? "Hikaru" is a common Japanese name that means "light" so you could go for a lala version: Hikaru Hikaruru. Or if you want to keep Umbreon, try "Umbreon Umbrenono."

If you really want to race change, Umbreon Hikaru would not be out of place for an Au Ra.

Looks like you enjoy immersing in the lore of the game. Given that, you might consider using Lalafell naming conventions. Azurr suggested Hikaru (light) which would be a great name in a Lala rhyming couplet following the conventions. Find a nice sounding word ending in "karu" and put the two together.

Hurkaru is Hindu for messenger. Maybe Hurkaru Hikaru? Messenger of light.

wow... lalafells naming conventions.... nice xD I heard of it but never searched it on internet... Hihikaru Hurkaru since I'm a Dunesfolk... so it will be the light messenger... it does looks cool
