You think you have it hard? Atleast you have a server near where you live, us NZers and Australians have to play with 300+ping (if we don't have ping reducing programs) and we get told of by some of the Americans for occasionally getting hit by aoes.
And there's probably gonna be no Oceanic servers... ever...
And I must be one of those rare people of a different culture that likes reward drops. (Lol just kidding, we're not rare)

If it's gotten so bad you could transfer to the unofficial AU server, Tonberry. Servers are in Japan so your ping will likely be halved-ish, with WTFast if your ISP has poor routing. Although I assume since you've been playing since 2013 you've built up a group of friends that would make transferring impossible.

Actually, I ran tests and I have slightly less ping when connecting to behemoth (and other NA servers) when compared to JP servers (Just about all of NZ's internet goes to america first via a cable under the pacific ocean).
;-; And I used to be on an EU server (the game recommended EU to me when I started), 400+ping wasn't nice (even with pingzapper) I had to leave all my besties, I still feel the void that was left when I had to leave, and my FL of 150 people is now like, 15, and half are alts. *curls up and cries*
