Vote kick needs to be adjusted

Soooo basically you were kicked for running ahead of the tank and pulling mobs? I see no problem.

Yeah sure the Tank was a jerk for trying to kick the healer while he was checking stats on a piece of gear, but why were you pulling mobs? Was he really making you wait that long?

As a healer, I'm sorry, but depending on the situation you're not only annoying the tank you're annoying me. If someone persisted to do this after being asked to stopped I would vote kick yes. Should he has asked you to stop? Yes. Did he? No. Yes it was a jerk move but so is pulling mobs ahead of the tank.

To be fair, he said "accidentally".

Honestly the amount of times I've accidentally shot an arrow at an enemy or have walked two steps too far and aggroed a bunch is embarrassing, so... yes accidents do happen.

Also sounds like it only happened once, due to the wording. But who knows.

*goes hide in the corner* T2 - we get to ADS - waiting for enrage - I go to focus target it... hit X one time to many...

But I'm kinda glad that now if I accidentally trigger auto attack - nothing happens since we don't have those with WM...

In my defense, though, it happen mostly when the tank run, seems to be ready to pull too, group is close behind, and then abruptly stop. I lost count of the times I run past the tank because I wasn't expecting him/her to stop like that.

I generally try and avoid running with the tank unless I'm healing - otherwise yeah an accidental pull - and you can usually see whan it happens is a bit different than seeing the healer or one of the DPS run off to attack a mob to drag them back to you during a current pull. I just watch them getting their faces chewed off. It's so nice.

Once had in DR: Leveling a group of 3 players - they kpet agroing things by accident all over the place(you have words you know - if you want a full clear or something specific ASK) - then we reach the third boss and one of them decides to pull it - I just did a /sit infornt of the gate and watched them die. After that it was OK.

Easy...well...not really "fix", but something to reduce abuse.
If you don't count the kicked player in the vote, you shouldn't also count the one that initiate the vote.
So, in 4 people group, the majority would be 2/2 (So, everybody say "yes" except the kicked player)
And in 8 people group, the majority would be 4/6

If someone is really messing around or disconnect, it won't be hard to obtain everybody's vote. But, if you just kick someone because you "felt like it", your vote will probably be rejected.

out of four people, even if one doesnt vote or vote no..the other two voted yes..you are kicked equally, you dont require the unanimous decision to kick.

If the healer voted no and the other two voted yes you would be kicked the same.

Dont accuse without being sure is actually the case, saying the healer voted against you is not something you are sure 100 % unless he said it.

To fix it

- remove the kick option entirely and have GM brought into the game in case of anti-game attitude and have GM do their job
- have GM analyze every kick..

as it is too much hassle and not enough people to do so. So SE choose the road of ...*we dont care*....

There's like, five GMs, this would be impossible.
Especially since most kicks are "they're a brat" "but they're a jerk". I would just kick everyone out of the instance if I were forced to literally go and physically investigate each vote kick.

therefore the only viable solution is to remove the kick option definitedly from teh game and vote abandon in case of stupid attitude of one or many players or, be an adult, and take the penalty, and leave on your own accord.
