Does anyone know how ilvl sync cap works?

Is it ilvl based or stat based? If stat based, is it based on class?
Either way, could someone post specifics like 550 CRIT/INT Cap etc.
A link to optimal PvP i180 gear optimisation would also be nice, thanks

From what I understand, I'm not sure if the sync directly affect the secondary stats themselves, but it definitely does lower their cap down, essentially the ilvl sync just caps your main stats to that on an i150 piece, this doesn't necessarily apply to secondaries though, as using i150 pieces will result in lower-than-average secondary stats.

Reason being, theyre too low at that point to effectively hit the cap. General rule of thumb for me has always been that the ilevel required to cap out all secondaries on a specific gearslot was the ilevel sync + 30, in otherwords, a mix of i180~i210 gear, be it PvE or PvP, is best.

Typically you want to focus on stacking as much crit and det as possible, though some may opt for skill/spell speed as well.

Mmmm mainly thinking of if I should buy my eso weapon/pvp weapon if I mainly PvP > like if I have all PvP gear up to level 49- can I equip an eso weapon for effiency or should I use a pvp weapon and use eso armour/items.

I've got no information to work with haha

Depends on the secondaries, statistically the eso and PvP weapon will be the exact same under ilevel sync, so it comes down to what secondary stats you want, same with armors too. If the PvP weapon gives better secondaries (IE: not useless ones like accuracy/parry), then the PvP weapon is better, if the eso one gives better secondaries, it is better.

    test

i have been wondering this my self and been mixing gears for mani stats and critcs only did bard and dragon so far but maybe the stats are more or less the same

for both dragon and bard you cannt gear wise get more than 855 main stats stength or dex wise. Critc was diff dragon max in pvp is 726, bards are 696....

eg dragon first numbers are outside pvp ... second are inside synced
    strength 941 855 951 855 964 855

    crit 771 674 840 726 865 726

as u can see there are hard caps which once reach simply push stats else were if u think neccassary

If the equipment's stats are above the ilvl's cap, then the stats are synced to the cap.
If they aren't, then they remain the same.

    e.g. Expanse Axe (i175 axe)
    Determination isn't @ i150 cap (48 < 56), so it remains the same. (48)
    Crit is greater than i150 cap (71 > 56), so it's synced to i150 cap. (56)
