Update since our last recruitment post:
We've gained about 10 players. A few casuals and a few ready to raid. We are short a healer or two to make a solid progression group, but are still taking good people to join the family.

Our Motto:
"Good people over good players. You can teach good people how to play, but you can't teach good players how to act."
Basically, I'll take the person with the best attitude over the better player any day. I know from experience that the positive attitudes have a far greater impact on the success of your free company than the skill of your players. I would much rather spend hours learning new content with good people and come out happy with our progress than disappointed because we won, but someone was a grump the whole time.

The quick history:
I am the original leader of Daeva of War the Aion & FFXIV Legion, Linkshell and Free Company. I started DoW in 2009 in the MMO Aion. I quickly leveled to cap, recruited the strongest players on Israphel and lead us to become #1 until (and even months after) we left Aion for FFXIV. The DoW members that moved to FFXIV with me had the same mindset. We were some of the first to level cap, first to down monsters and first to pioneer content. I made many videos about FFXIV in 1.0 and did my best to help the 1.0 community. This propelled us to 2.0 where we joined Hyperion and continued doing well. I took a few real life breaks and handed leadership off in my absence. As of late, the leaders who took control the FC in my absence have renamed the original Daeva of War to something else and reformed. This works out well, because I've taken the name back for myself and begin the process anew. Daeva of War is back under old leadership. For the most part though, I'll take care of the hard stuff, you can just come and kick some ass.

What we're looking for:
I'm prepared to sink hundreds or thousands of hours (again) into re-growing Daeva of War to it's former glory. I can't do it without good people however. So what I'm missing is you. Good players, new players, good attitudes, wonderful personalities, casual or hardcore. I'm willing and excited to catch people up if they're behind, and I'm ready for raiding if you are. I can lead a raid group no problem after so many years of doing it. Maybe you're a small group of friends looking for a more populated server? Or maybe you're a new player that's been looking at FFXIV but don't want to go at it alone.... There are a lot of situations that could bring us together.

The hurdles:
"I'll join them when they have a few more people" It's literally the phrase blocking us from doing amazing things today. On an established server, moving Free Companies can be difficult as it's basically a gamble. I hope my history of leading can be sufficient. If you're coming from another server, feel free to google Daeva of War + Aion or Daeva of War + Doctor Mog. The history should provide sufficient.

Conclusion & TLR:
Stuff and things.
Daeva of War is back with the original owner and is starting fresh. Let's do things like we used to. Play together, grow together and kick ass together. I have the major hurdle of recruiting before we can make this happen though. If you remember what DoW used to be, come make it happen again. No grudges held, old ruleset is in place. Fairness, no drama and all types welcome.
