The chat is placed in other server for sure, but we need serious server and graphical engine improvements soon.
Or this game never will be enjoyable enough.

Well sadly confirmed R0, well for me at least, isn't related to SE. Last night i decided to indulge in some black Friday sales on steam, and bought and downloaded 4 games. During that time, anytime a R0 occurred on FFXIV my downloads all hit 0KBPS. So that's really the last nail in the coffin for me. Unfortunately i don't think cox or whoever would know where the problem exists. It seems to be a wide-scale issue across the nation, seeing that multiple people in multiple states, with multiple ISPs are having the issue. Sounds more like a infrastructure issue, but idk what we can do about it, besides continuing to call and complain to our isps. Sigh

Its so odd this issue has been going on for a long time now. And sometimes its gone for weeks, and sometimes it comes back with a vengeance. It seemed ok until the recent emergency maintenance, so i dont know whats going on anymore. I'll still remain patient, because getting over-the-top upset isnt going to fix anything. It would be great if SE could acknowledge something on this tho.

It's still a problem.
Ping statistics for 202.67.49.53:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 84, Lost = 16 (16% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 133ms, Maximum = 169ms, Average = 149ms

I agree that it seems to have gotten worse since emergency mainteance.
Experienced same problem where chat worked, R0 and could not do any actions. Screen was frozen.
I have the same problem, started after the update this week. I did some monitoring with Windows Network Monitor and Wireshark and they both detected TCP packages that were resend (and thus causing the R0). Strange thing is I never had any issue with the connection before.

So I've been encountering this issue primarily between 1830 - 2030 GMT+8 time. Only things that suffer connection issues are FFXIV and Lodestone pages. I can browse the any other sites, converse on vent and download as per nomal. My connection is perfectly stable except this inability to communicate with SE servers primarily around these times each night, which is a royal pain considering it as at these times that we do events and is our prime play time.
Has there been any official comment from SE on this matter?

Its sad that this drama continues with R0 whats it been now a month? Ugg I'll still remain patient.. not much we can do about it.

this issue seems to have finally hit me today. it didnt really start till the evening after around 9:30 EST. not sure why this is happening but i know my connection to my ISP is stable right. i might have to flush everything just to be safe.

This happens to me around the same time all the time as well. It is only with FFXIV too, everything else is stable. Sometimes i am in R0 for up to 30 seconds or so, and the server never disconnects me. It never happened before 1.18, however afterwords it started every now and then, and after 1.19 it happens all the time.
Not sure if this temp fix will apply, but it has helped in a few cases. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...or-Error-30002This happens to me around the same time all the time as well.
