This is probably one of the things I'm looking forward to most - the move back to a non-F2P crowd. While it wasn't as bad in FFXIV due to the initial payment for the game most people had to make, I still feel like it did some bad things to the overall community.

its beta dude...new server,gameengine, arcutecture, maps, even chars..... the producer him self calls 2.0 a new game... stop argueing because there have been many beta that let you keep your char... mayby SE will by some of wows old servers so they dont have to test them and server load test them on us.... the only ones playing and testing this crap atm...you see they dont offer or say anything about beta to new 2.0 right? there wont be for a reason... because we are the test dummys.

If its a whole new game then how do you figure keeping an old game running equates to a beta? A beta is to help test a game before its made available. If it is really a completely new game then you might as well call FFXI a beta for FFXIV 2.0 as well.

no, this game is not highly playable, your just very ignorant and blinded. The developers even say this game is trash, they cant fix it haha. it doesnt matter what anyone posts after this now, The Makers of the game itself say it has to be remade to be fixed, it doesnt matter what anyone else says thats all it comes down to. If you guys want to pay SE for their mistake so bad, than fine, pay them. I will come back when the game is FINISHED like how its spose to be on release. It seems the pop of this game has their head so far up their own arse anyways...lol cant even see auto attacks right but this game is great! hahahahaha

You guys are just missing the whole point. the developers made a game that needs to be remade because it cant be fixed. I can pay the sub just fine, im not poor lol, but when there are just as enjoyable games with more content for free than this game and they arent charging it feels like a kick to the groin being asked to pay while we wait for them to make the game it should of been. anyone who says this game is fine, which is many of you apparantly, are facing an unwinable arguement because the actual developers of the game say it needs to be remade. Therefor, this game is bad. If the makers of the game are saying it needs to be remade, how can you argue that its fine how it is? it does not make any sense at all. Im just really surprised there are so many people willing to pay for SE's mistake. This whole situation is bunk. The reason SE is charging is because they cant afford the time its taking to remake the game, but they shouldnt of marketed a defunk product! Yeah, I find it amazing how many people think the game is worth their 40-50 hours of free time every week, but not worth their money.

I call "BS" on 95% of the people who care enough to stay around posting about the game that they are quitting once they actually have to start paying for their entertainment. I'm kind of glad SE is calling their bluff as well.
