Balmung is the RP server. I have no interest in RP, but I think that it makes the server more alive, to see people RPing in cities that are usually empty here in Jenova. (Ul Dah for example). But I heard that 99% of the players don't have a clue on how to play the game and just want to ERP in the quicksand.

It's hard to choose between the big servers based on stereotypes (Gilg = Pro Wannabes / Balm = ERP cat girls). :|

LMAO, whoever told you that is dead wrong. I don't know anything about Gilgamesh, but Balmung is an awesome server, and I have never RP'd once during my time in game.

I don't doubt it. Just saying what I've read after some "googling", and what some players say in reddit.

Yeah. I read the same thing about Balmung being the RP server. Balmung and Gilgamesh seems impossible to get on anyway. I wake up for work at 5:45 am est and have tried,even at that time of morning the servers are still locked. I created characters on Levi,Hyper,Excal,and Sarg. I figured I just see how each server is before I commit to one.
