Wolf Marks (What to do with those points)

I propose we should be able to buy PvP rank ups with Wolf Marks.
1 wolf mark is 1 xp.

This proposition should boost the attendance of PvP as well as adjust the difficulty of ranking.

Example of the current system: You can cap 20k marks and hit rank 10.
What to do with all those points? Buy gear which you will hoard until Rank 50? How many sets do you have to hoard before you actually hit 50?

All of this is for glam, mind you.

Please devs, this is a system that should have already be in place.

They already buffed up EXP you get in matches, is this not enough? Most of us had to grind the EXP pre-nerf. There is also challenge log for EXP as well.

i180 gear is pretty expensive so horde the gear until you reach rank 45 when you can start equipping them... Or glamouring them. I feel most of the complaints for this is because people don't like they can't glamour it because it's locked behind a rank system

no one remembers that when rank 30 was the cap, the highest xp you could get a match was ~33 in wolves den and you only got that if you beat a higher ranked team which had access to better morale gear when morale + weapon ilvl was BiS

Well thats the idea, when viewed against linear progression gear (the gear is worthless outside of glam); most players just skip the content altogether. Sure they boosted xp, but that doesn't bring new players into the obsolete content.

I'm just saying, throw a bone for people to participate. The gear is obsolete, and we rarely see new faces.

I steer clear of PvP for a reason - its just not my cup of tea and short of 200 eso and 1 mil gil on DR i plain on keeping it that way short of me being ultra bored (<- since 3.0 this is going to be a long time off like maybe at about patch 3.9)

1. The gear is not obsolete, you cannot achieve BiS without the i180 PvP gear.
2. I see new players all the time in Seal Rock, giving them advice as soon as you see that achievement pop will persuade them to stay a little.
3. Seal Rock is not obsolete as well, try queuing for Wolves Den and come back to me.

If you want gil start desynthing wolf mark gear. Goldsmith is probably the best option, but leather worker and weaver also works. The mats you get isn't worth that much anymore, but you'll still get a neat profit.

wanting gil is not my point, i was trying to illustrate that it will take quite a bit for me and people like me to take up PvP and there for reduce down the PvP queue

unless you want the band aid solution that the PvP community is crying out for which is the removal of the GC requirement for PvP
